I don't know. It's really annoying, and I hate to admit it, because I know better, but I actually kind of miss him. Or... us, or whatever.

[ There's another long pause. Mick hasn't seen Cold since the temple -- he knows they were going after the Rogues, they were gonna bring them down, but it's hard not to think about how things used to be. ]

You know, it's funny, I can never decide if I hate him of not. Few days ago, I'd have gladly watched him burn. But now... this one doesn't feel right at all. Like someone rearranged the furniture while you were out.

I get what you mean. It'd be one thing if he was completely different, but there are enough little things I keep getting snagged on.

And he's charismatic. I could see me ten years ago running with this guy.

I probably would too, but ten years ago I was running with the real Cold, so... you know. Ten years ago I would've been an idiot anyway.
