Not much. He asked why I was moping on your couch. Which, hell, he apparently knew the answer to the whole time! That son of a bitch kept playing me anyway!

[ He really wishes that were more surprising. As much as he's currently wishing he hadn't gotten in the middle of this, he really does kind of want to yell at the both of them to get their shit together. ]

Okay, that's not a reasonable question when we've only had supervillains for like a year and a half in my world. But what, do you think you guys don't get a shot at being happy because you used to rob banks?

[ James shrugs broadly, a sarcastic, airy tone to his voice. ]

It's hard when you're narcissistic and don't hold the happiness of other people in extremely high regard...

Look, you were right. I don't know either of you very well. I'm just working off impressions here. But from talking to him about you? He cares about you, he just... maybe doesn't always get that you actually care about him, too.

[ James flops dramatically back into the rainbow balls. ]

[ James' flop immediate drains some of the tension out of the room, and Cisco lets himself relax a little again. He takes a long sip of his beer to cut the remainder of his tense nerves, as well. ]

It sucks! You don't get it! When someone who cares about everyone doesn't seem like he likes you much more than anybody else, it's— gaaaahhhhh why am I talking to you about this!
