[ Like 15 minutes later Cisco's knocking on his door, a six pack in one hand, a cherry slurpee in the other, and a box of zebra cakes tucked under his arm. ]

[ James opens the door.

Squints. Grabs the slurpee out of his hand. Takes a drink.

AND GRINS. ]

Hey, man, nice to see you! How was kidnapping?

[ What a dick. ]

Absolutely goddamn awful! Which is why I need to spend the afternoon laying in a ballpit. How was whatever you were doing?

Sitting around at home and being very very worried about everyone? Great. Can't complain.

Lucky you. You would've hated the submarine, the guards totally wouldn't react to anyone trying to annoy them.

I'm sure that was totally the worst part.

[ He heads in past James, checking out his place. He's never visited before, and other than the ballpit, he frankly wasn't sure what to expect. ]

I probably don't! I'm very squeamish.

[ It's surprisingly tastefully decorated (for him). Comfortable striped couch and a blue shag rug in the living room, high end TV. Also a framed drawing of a dick with arms riding a horse hanging above a cluttered work bench covered in toys, but you can't win 'em all. ]

Oh, when we first started doing the Flash stuff, we were keeping metahumans in a probably illegal prison under our labs. But I'm a much better warden than the Russians on that sub were, let me tell you.
